Me too ordered as soon as it was out. A lot of skeptics and understandably because of the past flops but i this looks like a sure winner. Hope i am not wrong.
 
CD Keys has the standard version available for £27.50 which is not bad. Really hope they release a beta.

I am a huge FPS and star wars fan (played pretty much every star wars themed game there is and seen the films countless times except 2 of the newest ones.... :p) but even I am not anywhere as hyped as most people here. I LOVED battlefront 1 and especially 2.

Second trailer was better but still it just doesn't fill me with a lot of confidence.

It doesn't look anything like a reskinned BF 4 game to me and in some ways I wish it did but that is most likely down to the game modes, when I think of "battlefront", I expect huge scale battles like what we saw in attack of the clones, not small, linear maps....

It looks more like a reskin of the MOH.


I think the game will be great fun but only because it is star wars themed, I think once the hype and initial wow amazing period wears off, it will be dead after a few months just like MOH and HL.

I am dreading premium/DLC for this too, you just know that they will have cut large chunks out of the base game i.e. space battles just because they will make good DLC's and be more enticing to buy DLC/premium than previous attempts :(
