**** Star Wars: Battlefront ****

30sec clip, blink and you missed it. lame.

I really really wanted to like this game, but who in their right mind thought that 30 sec clip was a good idea???! Doesn't do AMD any good and surely does not help build any hype for EA. I'm expecting the graphics to look truly next level on the PC and all I saw was a blip that looked even worse than the PS4 videos :(

Levelcaps feedback from playing the game at E3. Take it however you want.

My initial game is that this game will be really fun but will lack depth per Nexus' comments. None the less I'll probably get it, play 60-100 hours and then return to BF4 :D

Yeah free/g sync is an absolute must have!

No sign of any good 34" 1440 75/100HZ IPS/VA g/free sync screens except the rog 34" one (which will likely cost £900+....) so think I might just get a 27" 144hz 1440 IPS free/g sync screen and make do with it till the next gen monitors.

Batman on Tuesday so I will soon know which side to go/stay with... Although that nano looks so damn nice!!! I'm wanting to move to a small form factor pc build with skylake and this would be ideal.

So many games coming out within the next year

Posted for you on the BF4 thread :D

Just to reiterate Tony, I think you would be bat *&^% crazy not to go for a Fury X given the advantages of the freesync! It's totally next level.

I am going Fury X 100% mate. Just wanted to see how much higher it might score than my current rig. Was going to use your 980ti as a rough guide as I reckon the FuryX will be around about or slightly faster than the ti at the res I play on. Couldn't care less about 4k at the moment, that's 2 years away till I'll even consider that.

And thanks for the link, missed that one I think. So 15k huh, currently scoring 11k on mine, 4k is a nice bump up for sure. Can't wait to get this Fury X in with my freesync and DX12 it's going to be a godly combo me thinks.

Yeh not sure why it's so low - honestly I just put the memory on +250 and core on +200 and benched it. Might have a proper session this weekend and get back to you.

Yeh it looks really awesome. If I wasn't locked to NVIDIA I probably would have got it over the 980Ti, despite what I've said in the past about AMD drivers

Here is a link to the firestrike bench thread Tony. Faster Ti is about 1k quicker (graphics score) than mine. It's my ram/cpu that is really holding me back in the combined score.

Well this is a first from me, one feature which actually makes bloody good sense and is quite good.

We have a concept we call Battle Beyond," Bach told IGN, "The cool thing with this is it's actually part of the player feedback. So depending on which side is winning or losing, these events actually change."

The atmosphere around the battle reflects the success of those on the ground. When the Rebel Alliance is dominating on that particular Tatooine map, part of the visual representation of their success is a flaming Star Destroyer sinking into the surface of the planet. Each map will feature appropriate and different means of communicating the state of the battle for each side.

Bach explained, "It's what you usually do in a UI, you make it bluntly obvious. It's slowly hinting at who's winning, and I think it's a brilliant concept to give you the information and emotion you need to understand or change your plans.... You don't need a gauge blinking. It's part of the world."

I'm still not preordering unless BF4 CTE network improvements have been built into the foundations of this game.
