That dogfight traler looks amazing

I agree it looks amazing but im a bit concerned that the impressions from E3 were that the vehicles were the worst part of the alpha. Hopefully they are improved in the later builds.

Would be lying if i didnt say i was hyped for it

OMG, please be good, please be good, please be good ;)

Videos look amazing, have always enjoyed the Battlefield games despite there flaws so hopeful for this.

The HUD is horridly consolisk on the vids thats showing lately. Like the bare min. Wonders if the cockpit dials actually work and tell u stuff or just for show blinking. Probably the latter. :(

There are clearly assignable buttons for lateral rolls and also 180 loops.....looks to be an utter fail for anyone even remotely interested in dog fights.

Don't get me wrong...the graphics and sound seem to be very well done and I suppose that's what makes the pedestrian game design even harder to take. This, with some vision and imagination, could have been the game that many have dreamed of. I'll still buy it for what it is but it could have been so much more and for that I understand the hate it's getting.

EA once again showing how out of touch they are no SP campaign just AI bots for SP players

No buy from me I can wait for a sale in about 12 months before EA turn the servers off forever :(

I don't get this. They've got one of the biggest, richest universes ever committed to film, where, with Disney's approval, they could tell a story as an aside of the films or even in conjunction with the new films, a side story if you will, yet refuse to? Perhaps they have a Dark Forces/Jedi Knight remake planned that they can't announce yet?

Its all about money EA do not want to spend the money required to craft a cinematic SP experience which I believe many would play. Not everyone has the time for lengthy MP or online only experiences either.

Pete Moore is seriously wrong about that. Just because EA flawed data says people only play SP once or never does not account for the players who play offline or block the data in their firewall settings from being transmitted

Been reading through a few threads on here and its suprising how some people can just never be pleased with anything that is produced :S. There have been some classic star wars games over the years that focussed purely on SP as an example with no multiplayer what so ever. A game comes out the opposite end of the spectrum and people are up in arms about it.

The battlefront games have never been about a rich indepth story, they have been about large scale ground and vehicle combat ( now with the technology aerial combat too ) and just because thats basic doesnt mean its a bad thing. Regardless this is going to fly off the shelves due to its history and the new movie; guess I just can't understand people who are never pleased with anything that is released. Your life must be devoid of a lot of fun people!

My life may well be devoid of fun, but it will not be devoid of the best part of £100 on another gash BF4 reskin just because "zomg darf vador and klingons in schpace"

The only reason this game will sell is because of the Star Wars name in the title. Without the name its another Hardline, the only thing which is hardlining is the player base.

I shall save my money this time. Shame as I love shooters.
