**** Star Wars: Battlefront ****

a proper PC looking game not a console one.

By all accounts it looks really impressive on PC, especially at 4k.

I don't get the obsession with large player counts either to be honest. Someone mentioned 128 players earlier.

That would either be ridiculous on most current sized maps, or they would have to increase the map size to compensate, which would give you the same sort of experience anyway.

Why people loved playing Operation Metro with 64 players, other than to speed through the unlocks, I have no clue.

Well neither does saying it doesn't look bad at all but then not explaining why you think that. You really think the lightsaber being nowhere near them but hitting invisible hitboxes doesn't look bad?

Yep, I can already begin to imagine what playing with a lightsaber will be like; spam clicking in every direction in the hopes that you manage to clip (what seems to be) huge boxes, result in cheap n' easy insta-kills.

No actual feeling of swinging, no feedback, just spam the attack button in hopes you get someone in close proximity.

Looks horrendous the light sabre play from video above looks laughable as hes jumping all over the place spamming the sabre about.

Looks like a console port if im honest.

First game ever to recommend 16GB RAM?

Also recommends W10 too, which is interesting since it's not a DX12 game.

EDIT: What is a 'PC looking game'?

Like I said earlier, they should have just left the jedi stuff out, you can't add them without making them OP as ****ed or making them completely and utterly useless....

Seems with all these negative comments I've reached the under 12's section of the forum, wow.

The game looks great imo, you don't have to buy it! I can't believe the comments, its not even released yet! were you all born with silver spoons in your mouth?! should be privileged to even get a game like this, go and learn to code and develop games and see how difficult it actually is. Everything has flaws, but this really does look splendid, the sounds the graphics, the overall look and feel really relates to the franchise.
