**** Star Wars: Battlefront ****

How do the configure the netcode for a lightshaber attack then? In those videos it shows Luke swinging like a drunk man doing a windmill and he still gets kills, to my eye the soldiers were not that close to him.

Must be a hard thing to make work, I can see how they can do netcode will bullets - just trying to figure out how big the hit box on the lightsaber and the soldiers must have to be.

^^

Plus a lot of us have already played the alpha and by the looks of it nothing has changed, still as shallow and boring as ever....

The jedi gameplay is even worse and as I expected OP as ****ed.

Don't think I will even waste SSD space for the beta.

because if you know most of these sites. you know why.

word of mouth of people who play is better. no biased. no business links.

its like undercover people on forums saying its amazing ;)

the game will tank on pc. its hardline all over again.

get a proper battlefield game out people want.stop with gimmicks.

Maybe we should, y'know, wait until we play the Beta in 2 days before passing judgement?

I know the hype train has left station with these biased, sponsored videos but we never told you to board the train. The game will sell well but don't be surprised if it has a low population after a few months at which point EA and these Youtubers won't give a **** because they will be working on their next hype material and won't be able to read poor reviews becuase of all the money covering their screens.

Now where did I put that EA meme?
:p

I know I have been negative of this game,

But,

I hope it doesn't tank, people deserve a decent shooter. EA need to give their customers an experience they will be paying a lot of money towards. The Star Wars name will attract a lot of people towards EA/Dice due to the content and the hype with the new film coming out, so they need to not balls it up.

I still maintain I won't be buying it but do hope that for people who like the Franchise that it is a good shooter/worthy of the Battlefront name.

I was happy when I first watched the E3 trailer

I've read a few previews and the game sounds promising

I will play the Beta and make my own mind up. I'm fully prepared to come on back here and say it's a boring waste of a license if that is the case.

I'm not on any Hype train, I tend to avoid watching videos of other people playing pre-released games so as not to spoil things.

From Reddit (unconfirmed)

The game won't support DX12. Johan Andersson AKA Repi (Technical Director on Frostbite) said that he wanted to implement DX12 and use it for their Holidays 2016 game(s) [BF5].

So we won't be seeing DX12 support until the next Battlefield title.

Implementing a new API into a (three year of development) game three-to-four months before release is suicide.

Moviebattles II has the best lightsaber gameplay by a long shot. I stopped buying EA & Dice games a long time ago as they are now just feel console orientated & rushed. Wish they would have kept Bad Company on consoles and Battlefield on PC, but all they see is a quick cash in nowadays. Isn't it also time for 128 player servers!

Odd statement at the end given how much better BFBC2 was than BF3 or BF4.
