map seems pretty empty somtimes dno if adding a few bots running around the map would be good or bad, also theres hardly any depth to the gameplay, guess back to dust2 like the addicted nerd i am lol

This game is ****!! Map is boring, same thing over and over.. In game sounds are annoying as hell!

And the graphics? They are terrible!

Hmm.. I'd say the gameplay is mediocare, graphics is great, and the soundtrack and sound design is superb.

Given the fact that it's AAA title and Disney will want a huge cut from the sales I think £20 is a fair price. You're paying for the Star Wars franchise.

Hmmmm, why didnt they just make Star Wars Battlefield and not Battlefront that has many similarities to the original.

It may sound silly but the floating powerups destroys the atmosphere for me. Power ups is so 1990's and does not belong in a modern - how can I put this - 'realistic' shooter. Realistic in the sense of recreating the Star Wars universe in a game and not true to life, but the movies dont have Powerups ffs.

DICE were probably doomed if they did and doomed if they dont but a reskinned Battlefield would have been better IMO. I predict it will fall foul to the same fate as Hardline unfortunately.

And since when can you destroy an AT-ST with just a blaster gun!??! Grrrrrr! :mad:

Anyone else playing this using Nvidia surround? The HUD and scope on my system is all on the left screen. I'm still shooting as normal on the middle screen though. This is in full screen. Borderless is ok.

Yep, less than a month away and its basically a demo of the full game.

Looks great, plays ok but i had my hopes up for the expected air combat DLC but after jumping into TIES and X-Wings, my hopes have been dashed somewhat

I enjoyed the 30 minutes I've had a chance to play so far (drop pods mode)

I see what you mean about team balance though. At one point it was 8 vs 2! They should implement an auto switch system to balance the teams.

I meant release. The game you are playing as others said is a demo - the critical game breaking issues may be fixed but anything else - you can forget it. Others I trust say the gameplay is per the alpha so I won't be preordering this.

Just FYI, ran it with 6gb - very smooth no issues. Not checked the settings but they seemed much better than I was expecting. Memory is DDR2 so old memory and MB

Gfx is 960 Evga OC - so not to bad but not great either, Processor is a Phenom II x4 965

Auto switch on Hoth??

Playing a round as Rebel can be spirit crushing, can imagine there would be a few people peeved off playing a round as Rebel, looking forward to to being the Empire only to be auto switched to Rebel again.

Not as fun as I remember when I played it at sdcc. Went through a flying **** load of trouble to get it running and it seems like a let down.

Yes i already said it was a demo, not my first foray into a dice game

People seem to take them at their word though which given past releases is pretty sad.

Managed to play Hoth for a while this evening. If what i've seen of the game so far is indicative of how the full game will be then i'll pass on buying this. It being set in Star Wars is cool for all of 30 minutes then the boredom sets in.

Had a play earlier. Looks nice, runs great.

Doesn't hook me though, something about the gameplay is just meh, can't put my finger on what I don't like though. So I guess it's just not for me.
