**** Star Wars: Battlefront ****

just had my first few games and was getting HORRID keyboard lag, like 1-2sec at times made it pretty hard to defend your self while aiming and shooting. anyone else had this ?
 
been playing for about a hour in total now, want to love it but feels more like cod than bf imo, would love to try some of the other modes but will wait for some reviews before i buy, so far disappointed like a lot of others, at least we have fallout 4 and legacy of the void in November :)

Already linked it, Star wars Battle front has been around since 2004, and was almost exactly the same then, except with more players.

Star Wars: Battlefront II is the second installment in the Battlefront series, released in Europe on October 31, 2005 – for the PlayStation 2, PSP, Xbox, and Windows – and in North America one day later. There are some significant differences between Battlefront and Battlefront II: Battlefront II includes playable Jedi characters, space battles, and story campaigns, as well as Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith-related content.

So this is ten years later, same plot line, from what I can see it reminds me of exactly the same game I played on my PSP in 2007 yet people say its just like cod.

29 kills 6 deaths on the first go but it just felt unfair/unbalanced. never get scores like that as im pretty average at best. im wondering if those who love it are the ones on the team with the walkers, and are winning loads so the game seems great. whereas the other team doesnt seem to stand much of a chance
 
it is massively weighed in the imperials favour, but then just now i saw a guy flying round in a snowspeeder, so the towline thing must work to bring them down!

Nope. I enjoy the game when losing and I prefer drop zone anyway.
 
This game looks and sounds good, but I just get bored playing it. One match and I'm done, not sure if it's the map or it's just so simple and uninteresting. Oh well, I will hold judgement until I play the full game.

It does and when you do it its great! Both myself and a friend have managed to bring one down using the ability (card 3 when in speeder)

Its arcadey but nicely so. Had an epic moment as Darth Vader last night as i was porking my way through the rebels and was force choking someone the Luke came flying over the top of the guy i was killing and we had an epic light saber battle
