If EA/Dice are involved it will have -

Starwars Battlefront
Starwars Battlefront Digital Deluxe
Starwars Battlefront Premium

At least 5+ DLC's. Battlepacks people can win or buy & double xp.

It's a huge money spinner for them sadly. The initail pictures from Twitter look brilliant. Not a fan of Star Trek but I may give this a whirl.

Lets just hope it releases better than BF4 did!
 
I will be getting this, even if its just a reskined bf4, as if the maps are on the frosbite 3 and the gameplay is same I am sold.

Also seeing that HazardO, manju and tess will be getting this thats as good as it gets of a team to start with.

Do we know est. date of this ?

In all honesty I'm not a great fan of the Star Wars films, but I will end up getting this no doubt.

You mentioned few times you are not fan of sci-fi which is fine, I am hoping we can all squad up there and play as we played bf :)

You said it yourself, all games in the last decade have this type of stuff.

Of course its going to have a dizzying array of unlocks and progression. Behavioral psychologists have done lots of research that shows that this keeps players coming back, and gives players something to work towards. As such every game is going to have it in order to keep people playing and crucially paying when the DLC comes out.

This in no way has anything to do with it being a "battlefield reskin" though. What you want is for them to reverse the trend of the last decades worth of FPS trends and go back to how it used to be. Never going to happen.

To be honest, I'm not bothered if this uses the frostbite 3 engine used in BF4. Less for them to @*&% up.
