**** Star Wars: Battlefront ****

At what point do DICE usually release the "we messed up with (insert previous release here), we were really disappointed with it but have learned from it and this is the best ever1111" statement? It must be due soon?
 
to be fair, if you think back to what Battlefield 4 looked like at the playable events, like E3 and gamesconn, the finalized game didn't look much different.

I know EA do plenty wrong, but they aren't ubisoft. The stuff rendered "in the engine" is always amazing and looks better than what the in game will do as its pre rendered. But trailers for games have always done this. The playable game footage is the one we want to see.
 
Wait until you see some real gameplay before basing a opinion on "bs"/"hell yeah"!

I think it probably is in game footage but each scene has been checked, tweaked and visually rebalanced dozens of times as well as specific animation captures, unit placement and camera framing so you don't get to see the rough edges. Also probably captured on some beast machine then down sampled for that extra IQ and pop from the textures and effects.

Looks like it is going to be a very good looking game, hopefully it plays really well too! I'm not a Star Wars fan at all so I have no understanding of the ships/characters but I do like some sci-fi shooty shoots.
 
Do you know how dice breaks the internet ? fixes BF :D but yes hype is real on thisone looking forward to the trailer today and as haz mentioned BETA is a must...
