Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (fallen order sequel)

It's more likely that they only have so much resource to allocate so those resources are allocated to the platforms that are most profitable, so those platforms are prioritised and get the main focus of the core dev team. The work they then do is back ported to the other platforms with any additional work being carried by another team.

clearly for console they have to spec settings for exact hardware and prettyness and framerates

but for pc they are just like pick what you want, as you have the hardware available to do whatever (if you have £££)
always thought it was weird that you get 100 graphics options and no guide really on what is necessary or too performance heavy and just have to work out thousands of combinations,
HUB and others sometimes do good graphics settings testing and guides (like "low is terrible, medium and high look the same ultra does nothing notably extra but tanks performance)

the best games are the ones that are optimised so you can wack it on ultra and it runs fine and looks great :D

GeForce Experience does something like this with a balanced take on settings for decent FPS. I rarely use it this way though!

I was going to sign up to EA Play Pro to play this but I think I might wait for a few days, see what any patches bring. Makes me wonder what it would've been like on the original release date if they didn't delay it.

Oh yeah EA Play is only £4 right, so am tempted to just see what it's like via that :p

Edit* Oh it's £15, basic EA Play is £4 :/

Seems like it runs like absolute trash on PC, not surprised when I see its using Unreal Engine. People still buy UE titles on PC so probably won't be "fixed" for another decade.
