Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (fallen order sequel)

Seems like it runs like absolute trash on PC, not surprised when I see its using Unreal Engine. People still buy UE titles on PC so probably won't be "fixed" for another decade.
Unreal Engine can be very decent and some quality games with no issues use it, including:

Gears of war 4 and 5
Gears of War : Tactics
Fortnite
Sea of Thieves
Stray
Final Fantasy VII
Prey
Life is Strange

And of course games using Unreal Engine 5 are about to drop.

Cba with faffing about with a VPN for the sake of 5 hours :p

I do however want to write a comparative opinion piece about the state of PC ports as of late though, but want to have direct hands on with the release version of the game before I get to work.

Games unlocked, I've only had time to check it runs. But looks like it might still need a few patches, PC controls either aren't defaulted correctly or not fully implemented, certain buttons on the load/options screen don't respond to mouse clicks and you need to use the enter button/keyboard shortcuts to activate them. The UI's probably tuned to gamepad. On high settings the game does look amazing but I'm getting a fair amount of stutter, this might just be assets streaming in/or shaders compiling, the FPS was fluctuating anywhere from 75FPS down mid 50's in fairly rapid succession.

I'll have more time to look at the game this evening, but I'll probably hold off any extended session until the games had a patch or 3. Not really a problem for me I want to finish HZD2 and it's DLC before I start playing this.
