If a Tomahawk goes wrong, it just flies until no fuel and then drops with "safety" on, so wont explode.

Breaking News:

War Correspondent Over_Clocker is off to sleep for a while.

Report back tomorrow :D

Keep up the good work guys :)

Two British Soldiers are missing in Southern Iraq :(

Also, we are now in control of Basra power station and are now working round the clock to restor power and water to them.

No one hurt.

At £600,000 a pop extremely costly misfire.... still would worry me though, they do carry explosives of kinds.... so I wouldn't always be 100% satisfied that they were safe....

something tells me that a cruise missile or something will be winging it's way to it fairly soon.

Someone on news 24 made a good point, the helicoptor seems to be intact (no obvious battle damage), and no mention of the crew being killed/captured by the Iraqi's, hinting that it might have been bought down by equipment failure (birdstrike/sand causing engine failure).

In which case the Iraqi's might have found it long after the crew got away.

Also they are saying that there is a rumour the crew has already been recovered.

oh and it looks like the Apache had most/all of it's weapons still attatched, which would hint that it hadn't actually fired anything (engine failure on it's way to it's target?)
