SOUTHERN IRAQ (Reuters) - Units of the U.S. 101st Airborne Division crossed into Iraq from Kuwait on Thursday, a Reuters correspondent with one of the units said.
Correspondent Kieran Murray said he had entered Iraq on Thursday. The destination of the troops was not clear.
The 101st specializes in charging into combat in helicopters. The division had been based in Kuwait and was not part of the initial U.S.-led invasion of Iraq on March 20.

Al Jazeera seem pretty dodgy to me, they always get OBL messages and ahve filmed dead Brit solidiers and other shocking things. I think their sus.

I have just seen still's of the video which Al Jazeera showed of the British soldiers who had been killed.
They are far too graphic to post here, but i am now under no illusion that these soldiers were executed.
Its disgusting.

Well that column of vehicles was destroyed by US fighter jets and B52! Yea!!!! about a mile or so from our forces
Also the Iraqis in the vehicles were wearing US-type clothing. Now ALL US soldiers HAVE to wear the chemical warfare trousers or they are going to be considered the enemy.

Could be it was in a field of grass with the same weapons. It just was shot up, but thats easily done to fake a second crashed Apache.
Don't be too harsh in your judgement of Al Jazeera it was one of the first non censored news stations in the Arab world.

Shocking isnt it.
One of our Military leaders(forget who) was saying the media could unwittingly help Saddams regime looks like Al Jazzeera are doing ti on purpose.
