Steam Chat: Update

Just had another Steam update, which has re-enabled the new Steam Chat, but the good news, its also been updated, and can now go Offline etc... 
Can't stand the new chat system. My biggest issue is that the chat window always loads in the center of the screen when I like it on the right edge so I'm always having to move the bugger. The old window always kept its location.

I'll tell you what really boils my ****. The chat screen loads up in the centre of the screen and there's no ******* way to close or minimise it, it has no 'X' or '_' in the top right corner.

Statement, works fine for me, chat dosnt load when I open steam either, only opens when I click on a friends name

Unless that was a windows only issue.

It does for me now too, as i changed it from Starting with Steam. I wish id left it, as it used to start with me signed in, as invisible, but over on the right beside the Steam window

Yeah, when it first came through months ago, you couldn't go offline, or stop it starting with Steam, and if you started a game as invisible, if you didn't want to be disturbed, it automatically made you visible, so you couldn't do it
