2 hours isn't always long enough to see if you want to keep it or not... ah well baby steps

I disagree, I played some games 2 mins and realised they were a load of rubbish lol
AC:unity. lords of the fallen and many more
See, I'd say 2 hours is more than long enough to decide if you want to play something. My first impression of games is normally made within the first 20mins of gameplay.
My question is this, if I was to pay for and download a game with trading cards/drops, what would happen to them items once I've refunded the game? Or if I'd even sold them on in the market. Whilst trading cards are peanuts in terms of money, if you'd got a good drop within 2 hours in lets say CS:GO, would it just be lost?
I had a refund through this morning for Kerbal Space program. (game text waaayyy to small for me to see, even though I sit 3 inches from my monitor)
As it was on a 14 day deferred payment from Paypal, I got a message from steam to say it had been refunded, then another from paypal to say the payment was cancelled.
Awesome
Is this because Steam is being made to do this? I'd be surprised if they were doing this because they love their customers lol.
You have missed out on a real gem there.
Apart from the 2 hours bit what they're doing is pretty much EU digital refund policy I'd wager it was this or get sued.
Finally. Now you can actually buy a game without worrying about if it will run properly on your PC or if it's a piece of **** alpha game in disguise.

Ok, try for refunds that are older, it works.
I just got a refund on:
Dark Souls 2, purchased 18th December 2014, decent game, not my taste though.
South Park, purchased 13th March, 2015.
Gonna try for a few more that are under the 2 hour limit.
