Steam sale now .... Off

I went on a full on flip flop on this before deciding to buy it. Went from nah, its too cringe I can do without it, to bugger it I'll just buy it over the space of a couple of days. Also bought Field of Glory Empires in addition to the other stuff I've bought posted above.

Basically went through the same thought process and ended up nabbing it.

If anyone buys it and gets the non-launch issue where you are stuck on the desktop with the splash screen only and a memory leak the solution is pretty simple. Just go to the games local files (Right Click on the title in Steam > Manage > Browse local files) and then delete the TargetHardwareProfiler.dll file. The game should now start with no issues.

Half an hour to go...

What did you get?

Just a few for me this time round.

Fancied a Hyper Sports kinda game

£2.49 for the full Hitman 1 game on the new engine, add ons and Conor McGregor lols

Finally, to go with the Quest 2 that arrived today

So about £20 all in. And as far as I can tell Alyx is well worth the £50 at full price. Looking forward to this one on the weekend :D

Here we are again. What are folks buying this time around? I really want Cyberpunk 2077 but it's still a bit pricey for something I don't know if I'd like or not. Might just go for Resident Evil VII and VIII which I haven't played yet.

Same here. I think in the early days of the failed launch, it had been close to a tenner. I regret not buying it then as wasnt sure if they would turn it around. In recent times I have not seen it drop below 22 quid for the standard edition.

I'm buying Nine Sols, £17.50 is the lowest it has been. Going to get Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus as well, although I think that's cheaper on gmg, so while it's in the Steam sale, I won't be getting it from there. Might grab Crow Country as well, not sure yet, price is fine, but too many games, too little time :(.

Was hoping for Stray to hit £9.99, but it's the same old £14.39 sale price. I guess it will be one of those games where it never drops. Plenty of other games out there, so will just wait it out or never buy it.

Not much exciting me in this one. Everything I'm interested in is either cheaper elsewhere or on Game Pass.

I'll be picking Forza Horizon 4 up before it is withdrawn from sale. But I'm still undecided on platform. I already own the DLC on Xbox, and the standard edition key costs about £6 vs buying the ultimate edition for £16.99 on Steam.

Steam sales just aren't the event they used to be.

Ultimate Edition is currently £10.49 at cdkeys

That's the Xbox/Windows Store version. I've already got the DLC for that version (I was playing it on Game Pass), so only need the Standard Edition. Tempted by the Ultimate Edition on Steam though for the Deck.

Grabbed some of the Telltale games ie. Batman, The Wolf Among Us and Doom Eternal. Had the first two on my Series X, but since I've abandoned that platform, wanted them for my Steam library.
