Steam sale starts wed 26

Wouldn't mind a cheap copy of AC:Black Flag, or DayZ... other than that, not really much I'm interested in, so hopefully should be able to resist the urge!

Just seems to me each sale is getting worse. Steam sales are not what they used to be any more.

Maybe Christmas sales will be better.

Only two I want and I can't see them having sales on them.
Galactic civ 3 and civilization beyond earth.

Gal Civ3 has an extra 10% off from yesterday to make total of £23.99 but was on Stardock at £16 up to yesterday so the may do something similar on Steam(I hope )

Some of these sales on newish released within the last 2 months games are a real eye opener  they are really punishing pre-orderers or early adopters with these prices

Lords Of The Fallen 40% off
The Evil Within 66% off
Alien Isolation 25% off
F1 2014 40% off
Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition 50% off
Dead Rising 3 25% off

Seems like Steam sales are now heavy discounts after 2 months not 6 so a new set of goalposts to contend with

So as I said, this is what usually happens unless it's a game from a publisher who doesn't understand that games depreciate as time goes on.

Very tempted at The Evil Within but can't look past the mixed reviews. Was looking forward to that one but still something is stopping me from taking a risk even at that price.

Lords of The Fallen - includes the new so far unbroken Denuvo DRM which some people say causes issues on their PC's so buyer beware its making me reconsider the purchase I want to buy the game but not this new DRM

Its a recent thing up until now it took 6 months or longer before you would get more than 33% off on Steam for full price games so this is a new sales tactic which obviously undermines people who pay full price @ launch & or support the game by pre-ordering IMO

Good luck to everyone who gets the bargains they want :D but it also offends the full price buyers not sure its such a good idea to offer such large discounts this soon who would buy @ full price in future if this trend continues ?

Not me thats for sure ;)
