Steam Summer sale - 19-30th June

I hope the Unreal series goes on sale in the daily or flash sales. I wouldn't mind picking up the second title in the series and also, I might get State of Decay. I meant to get that in the last sale, though I never did.

I guess my life has hit a new level of sadness.

In my normal day to day job im an office worker, public sector, work with lots of data and figures, challenging but rewarding work.

So i download papers please and now im obsessed with the tiniest details on peoples passports lol.

Such a simple premise for a game yet has me hooked.

Also i guess im the wrong person to be struck by the "moral" choices in the game, i guess my day job has made me desensitised to the excuses :D

Whats that your son is sick and you need to get into the country to see him, ohh well im sorry your surname on your passport doesnt match your permit. DENIED!

lol the hard part of the game doesnt seem to be making the decisions, its making them quick enough to be able to make a living.

The real dilema comes not from the people you turn away but when your family etc start getting sick/hungry/cold due to your not making enough money.

Ive had my first punter try and throw me a bribe to get through the passport check, when i detained him i did wonder what would have happened if i had accepted the money and let him through.

Probably would have got a memo to say he had failed security and been penalised anyway

/edit

lol as you progress its really trying to make your decisions slower and therefore build the tension by trying to process people quickly without mistakes.

Ive now been given fingerprinting to help with people who say they have changed name recently. Just another step to slow me down.

I've just started playing sounds like I'm as far as you. Made a load of mistakes today, did 11 people but in practice didn't get paid for 4 :(

I found this for Papers Please, which some may class as a cheat as it takes some details from the manual and has them in a single page.

I find it helps for sure but when you need to interrogate the details you obviously still need to have the manual open in game to open the inspect tool and question the discrepancies.

Does anyone think Walking dead season 2 will come down less than today's 50%?

Not in this sale, Daily Deals are as good as it gets with regards to discount. Also be aware that if you buy a copy of this game elsewhere (Rainforest, Key sites etc) then it will most likely be a Telltale version downloaded through their website rather than a Steam key.
