Steam Summer Sale 2017 - 22nd June

I think I've bought enough games this sale now.

This is the games I've gotten this far:
Far Cry
Far Cry 2
Sleeping Dogs: Definite Edition
Middle-Eart: Shadows of Mordor
Dragon Age: Origins
Far Cry 3 - Deluxe Edition
Mafia 2
Football Manager 2017
Crysis Collection
S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Bundle
Doom

And through CDKeys I did get Battlefield Hardline.

Now it is just time to wait for my new fiberoptics to be installed so I can start enjoy gaming and downloading the games for real. Having a ****** line where if I'm lucky get a speed of 4mb...
In a couple of weeks I'm getting an engineer to come and install the last bits for my 100mb fibreoptics that should go live soon as well.

Any one who can recommend some other games to prepare for the next sale?

Crysis Collection? The Warhead Bundle?

Shame it is missing Crysis 3 as I had to go for the full set through Origin last month.
I don't know what I like better between Crysis, Warhead and Crysis 2. I think Warhead edges it out the most. The Sykes (Quality) mod is incredible with all the DOF, screen distortion, particle and explosion effects. It is eye candy galore as well as the kick ass music they supplied for it.

I cannot wait to get into Crysis 3. It looks bad ass. Never played it before.

I did go for Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor GOTY even though I have it on the PS4. Also got DOOM, looking forward to seeing that maxed out on the PC as it was fun what I played it on the PS4. Damn fine looking game even for a console.

The one I'm really looking forward to getting into is Batman: Arkham Origins from the sale. Looks so nice and gritty.

Just spent a hour or so playing ARMA3. Spent 30 minutes in the garage testing different vehicles and aircraft and found them to be pretty easy to use. Some of the controls are a little confusing, finished that and started the tutorial and was blown away by the graphics once the VR section was finished, also really happy that my PC can run it with some decent FPS too, just a few minutes of that and that convinced me that I should buy this game.

Now, I just need to decide on Squad.
Squad is amazing. I love the animation and sound effects

VF, the Crysis bundle included Crysis, Crysis Warhead, Crysis Wars and Crysis 2 Maximum Edition.

I'm saving Crysis 3 and The Witcher 3 for the Christmas/New Years sale :P

I feel like I need to impulse buy something else before it's over!

Tempted by darksiders 1 and 2. I played through the first on ps3 years ago and did try 2 once but I think I refunded it as it was poorly optimised

But with a 3rd game on the way I wonder if it's worth trying again. The 2nd game seems like marmite, performance aside

Got a few things in my basket and thinking of getting the Witcher 3 as I've not played it yet, however I didn't enjoy Skyrim as it was far too open and long winded, and watching reviews on the Witcher 3 it looks to be a bit similar with loads of side quests etc... but the story does look alright, is it worth buying or avoid? £15

Me and a bunch of others consider it to be one of the best games ever. You don't have to do many of the sidequests and a majority of them aren't your generic fetch quest style either. The main story was incredible too.

Witcher 3 is also tempting me, but I've never played the originals. Wonder how easy it is to get in to the story?

The witcher is great, I enjoyed it more than skyrim but it is a similar game.

I've managed to pick up only what I really want this time, namely:

NieR:Automata
Prey
Deus Ex MD Season Pass

I think so. As usual at the end they do a summary of the best deals which is displayed today.
A bit strange as the sale was pretty much the same all the way through where as before with the flash sales a re-cap was handy.
Steam sales work like this now and have done for a while.
The dates and length of the sale are anounced in advance but the prices stay constant for the entire sale.
If "crapgameno99" is 65% off on day 1 it will be 65% off for the entire sale. There are no flash sales or extra discounts, so no reason to wait for the last day.
The "recap" is just a chosen list combined of the most popular stuff during the sale and stuff they want to further promote.

Im stuck on a dx10 card so didnt find an excuse to buy anything. I thought squad and arma3 deals were good for milsim players, I have both already though.
I could buy some old games but I have some I havent finished yet. I will wait for halloween sale when I will be on dx12 hopefully

Trading bot for cards if any want to use them before they disappear in a few minutes :
