Steam Summer Sale 2018

I was hoping for 80% off Vampyr. Guess I was asking a little too much. :)
£31.99 on CDkeys. Perhaps still a bit expensive but better than £45 on Steam... It is worth that price in my opinion, I've 13 hours put in to it so far and it only feels about half way through the game. I also think the game is awesome by the way.

Bah, finally got Steam to load, sadly it wasnt worth the time and effort. Not a single title on there that I wanted to buy and overall some very paltry savings for sale prices.

£13.19 for GTA V, time to pull the trigger.

EDIT: Firewatch is at £3.74, wanted that for a while.

Thats lower then Ive seen before now for sure.

I might get division basic pack to play out some before 2 comes out next year.

Few Final Fantasy games on sale but the console versions are cheaper with their own games sale. Never thought I see that.

Some decent sims for VR in the sale, what to choose?
XPlane 11
Aeorofly FS2
rfactor2

leaning towards one of the flight sims as both have recently been updated to have 'hands' and already got loads of racers.

I just bought Inside and >observer_.

But not on Steam. Bought on GMG with their 22% off voucher (JUNE22) and it was cheaper than buying on Steam. Actually buying on Steam, even during the sales is a waste of time now. Only benefit is the refund window, but I've been stung with that before when buying and not playing for ages, or going over the 2 hours for games like Endless Legend and not being able to get refunds (and NEVER playing again because I just didn't like it after learning how to play).

Pretty sure the Factorio guys said they will never put their game into sale as it's worth full price.
Yeah they've also said the price will only ever go up, lol. And they very recently increased the price by 50% now that they're "close" to leaving early access.

Good luck with that one... in a few years time when it's £50 and nobody is buying it, they might well change their minds... or maybe they'll be millionaires by then and won't care.

Just looking back at an earlier post.

I do wonder if these will come up...

Celeste
Iconoclasts
Night in the Woods

:)

If you want to play true Iconoclasts buy Crusader Kings 2 + Old Gods DLC, and play somewhere in Byzantium at 769 start. :D
And since we are there, the correct term should be Iconomachia and not Iconoclasm, which means completely different thing... (Damn English translation from Latin)

That "Iconoclasts" game has nothing to do with the real thing :P

Both excellent games, they're oozing with atmosphere.
