Steamguard, absolute garbage

The system is a form of further security to prevent unauthorised access to your account. Period. If you don't like it, don't use it. But I for one with over 70 games, am sure as hell going to protect my account with the best means possible.

I've had problems with this - Finally got logged in when the emails eventually came through, restart my PC and it's prompting me for a code again, which hasn't been sent to me.

As soon as I get a response from Steam and get logged in, I'll turn it off. It's rubbish.

Add me to the ranks of the unimpressed. Starting a couple of weeks ago it's begun asking me for the code every single time I log in, exacerbated by the fact that I dual-boot at home and also log in from work. I think I'll disable it.

If you don't like it don't use it. I get a message recieved instantly to my e-mail, so whatever you use to recieve e-mails with, must have a form of delay added to it.

only issue I had was when I tryied to login twice and the first email got caught by junk filters.

I'm stuck trying to login - basically I'm not getting the steamguard email - FUME

any ideas plase?

I'm receiving the password reset "verification code",as well as the "your account has changed" email after changingthe email

but no steamguard email

checked both local spam folder and online server one at virginmedia via webmail

any ideas?

Check your account settings on your email client. Most have a strong policy on deleting junk, which you end up having to disable since you never get those account verification emails from anyone if it's on. I ended up setting mine to letting all junk through and just dealing with it in the junk folder, was easier than not receiving registration emails from every site I tried to join.
