This is an odd thread. Very much like Twitter misinformation.
When I am planning on buying something computer related I tend to watch GN videos, but I will sporadically watch LTT videos just as they are more entertaining. He does have ad's/sponsors, usually one at the beggining and one at the end but the inbetween isn't all about selling stuff?
LTT biggest mis-step imo was the 'Trust me bro' regards to warranty. But this particular argument going on is stupid, LTT did not disclose why they stopped working with Honey at the time as they only knew Honey was taking their affiliated income. They didn't know about restricting vouchers etc so why would the public need to know?
Steve is good at what he does, and if you like what he does, great. But he does seem to take specific aim at certain companies/brands when there are others out there who have done the same thing, he just calls out the ones bigger than himself.
Also just a pet peeve, but the LTT is only in it for the money......he could have sold LMG years ago for $100 million and didn't. He has 100-200 employees now? Yes they need ads to pay for that, the studios, the random videos etc Steve gets away easier as his is fairly limited aside from the testing lab.

^ LTT you might consider 'more entertaining' but fundamentally his reviews are worthless these days, it's impossible to tell which he's shilling on, which he's just doing his OTT fake 'entertainment' spin on and which he is honestly reviewing..
I don't even find him entertaining, it's all fake/hammed up and badly acted as he tries way too hard and so it devolves in to him trying the Clarkson approach of just trying to break things and be deliberately belligerent which clarkson gets away with because he's always been like that..
He's botched numerous reviews, he just openly shills right in front of you and I can't trust anything he recommends without doing more research..
If he isn't in it for the money, why does he keep growing the empire whilst simultaneously becoming less credible as a reviewer? Is it just a narcissistic fame thing? Is he trying to grow it to a $1Bn business?
It's because he has such a large number of staff that the problems have arisen, he's too big now, he has to pay the bills and that means he's sold himself out..
I tell you the turning point, that was when he once said he'd never sensationalise the titles/thumbnails for click bait, and then he got to a size he said he now had to to keep the money rolling in.. that was him setting foot on the slippery slide..
I might appear jaded, but that is because he used to be an honest reviewer and built his original channel all based off that, then he diversified and took on loads of people and it's just all about the money now.

.Anyway, I did get to the end, it was tediously long and rather petty, particularly the end regarding computex.
