Stickman 2: Return of the YOLO...

Finally back in the gym. Holidays are great, but now my back is stiff...

BACK SQUAT (3) 80-100-110-120-100-105-110

Slow and steady... first session back, so not terrible. :)
 
Did some strict press over the weekend (40*10*4) and some power snatch this morning...

Trying to get back into a morning workout routine due to life... and it's pretty slow. :D
 
Decided some snatch was in order...

HANG SNATCH (3) 40-50-60-70-75 The last set was hard; even 70kg was unstable overhead. Moar OH squatting required. And snatch. Always more snatch.
BACK SQUAT (5) 70-90-110-110-110 Volume comparatively low, but just nice to actually move.
 
Interim squats... was tempted with some fronties but my upper back is still fried from snatching.

BACK SQUAT (3) 60(5)-80(5)-100-100-100

Will do some chestanbize work later...
 
Do you do any other accessory work, or are your squat routines that short? I wouldn't mind getting back in to leg training if the volume was that low.

They are that short at the moment... :(

However, even when I get back into a full routine, I won't be doing *that* much more: probably just DBSS on squat days.
 
And moar squats...

POWER CLEAN (3) 60-80-80-90 Wasn't keeping the bar pinned back, so first set of 80kg was harder than it should have been...

80(5)-100-110-115-115-115-115-115 Felt good...
 
Did a few things over the past couple of days...

Yesterday: high snatch pulls...

Today:
HANG POWER SNATCH (3) 40-60-60-70
BACK SQUAT (8) 70(5)-90-90-90-90

Quads are burning. Tomorrow might be difficult... :eek:
