The uncircumcised penis can be torn a lot easier than a circumcised one, as it has dangly foreskin. Tears and cuts are far more easily infected than normal skin. Allegedly though foreskin skin is more succeptable to infection than the rest of the penis though, but that's the first I've heard of it.

Can't be bothered to read the whole thread but I always find it surprising how much people care about their foreskin. I like my penis a lot but I wouldn't think it's a big deal if I didn't have that little flap of skin at the end.

It should be up to the individual in this country, when they're old enough to decide for themself.
I'd think different if there were an AIDS pandemic here, but there isn't. So there's no need for it, unlike there is in countries with these epidemics. In the UK it's not nearly so much of a "risk" to have foreskin.

This is natures way of keeping the world population under check, should save the money on AIDS reseach and spend it on more useful things that benefit people that arent going to die anyway.
