For clarity, somewhere, server side, there will be a list of all users. Active, inactive, etc.

The only question is whether or not it can generate a user-accessible HTML list, which would allow people to check username availabilty with ease.

Mine, Many years ago I watched some World Cup on TV, not sure on the year, but I remember a player called Patrick 'M'boma' loved the way he played, so I kinda stole his name and changed it a little.

I think he played for Cameroon??

Is the name changing service still available? I think there were character limits in place when I chose mine which led to the abbreviation at the beginning
