Stranger Things (Netflix)

So what did everyone make of the ending. Do you think El is gone?
What was with the kid at the end. Could be anything, ill, still connected to the upside down.
What about the chief and the car he got into, plus who is he feeding?

Pretty excellent all round tv series, if you were born in the 60s-70s-80s you would instantly love it for the nostalgia alone, but a very well put together season 1, probably one of the best shows for 2016.

Really really good show, one of the best imo. Nostalgia music from the 80s. Tron, Escape from New York, Big trouble little China and Trancers come to mind.

Finished last night and loved it. Can't wait for season two.

Reading some interviews with the cast and the Duffer Brothers has made me appreciate the effort they've put into making it. Especially Mille and the work she put in to portrait Eleven.

Up to episode 5 at the moment, really enjoying it. I like how it's revolved around kid actors with the adults being support, makes a change. Reminds me of Stand By Me & ET blended with X-Men..Love the retro 80's synth music as well.

I like the fact, atleast at face value, rather than tightly control the story and characters, etc. to their original vision they seem to have worked with everyone involved to evolve the characters and so on for TV which IMO has really worked and helped to lift it above the canned rubbish pushed out a lot lately.

Started this last night. Watched 2 episodes around 11PM. Next thing I know it's silly o'clock.

Few episodes left, that's Friday night sorted

What an amazing show. As a kid growing up in the 80s, a lot of the nostalgia hit strong. The music, the props, the TV ads and so on. The acting and dialogue was all superb for the era it's set in too.

It's very spooky, too. A balance of Silent Hill and E.T.

Only watched the first episode but I'm hooked. Should get a few down tonight.

The soundtrack is just amazing. Reminds me of John Carpenter.

This is the first tv show I've watched that made me feel like I was watching a movie. I've just finished the first episode and whilst it hasn't grabbed me yet I'm going to give it a few more episodes.

Pretty decent. Winona was terrible.

I thought she was great

In fact all the acting was great including the kids

Decent show...makes the preacher look even more naff...

Stuff happened each episode in this ...

Did anyone else think that el might have made them all fly over the van like ET rather than flip it ?
