GGs mate - very tight for the last game - shame I couldnt use my stick as I was as a mates - can understand you wanting to get it out of the way though. Why I kept doing silly dps and jumping

. Didnt think getting used to stick would throw you off so much...

Title: the madcatz stick killed my ps3

subject: after i gave the stick some time to think last night, went to put on the ps3 today and nothing, no sound and no image, tried the resets and the usual but nothing just blank as an unsigned cheque

3500 of the hard earned battle points down the drain

, gives me an excuse to start a fresh and start with the madcatz when it gets back / replaced

What makes you think an arcade stick did that?

How fast can you get a new PS3 then?

Does this pose a problem for you continuing in the League or are you expecting a quick turnaround replacement for your PS3? (Obviously you have about a weeks worth of games in hand anyway).

Yeah should do - just more likely tonight when Im back or tomorrow - hopefully get a fair few out of the way tomorrow when on a roll/or not as it might be

dont know i have to blame somone / thing lol, how fast is sonys turnaround, or is it worth taking it back to the purple shop? (its less than 2 months old)

If you take it back to the shop you could get it done instantly instead of a few days/week.

If its only 2 months old they should take it and replace it with new (the shop) - kick up a fuss if you get an idiot...

you sure? im expecting them to tell me to ring to sony, i thought if its within 28 days they would swap it anything more they would ask me to go through manufacturer

I'm not entirely sure but I think the sales of goods act will allow you to get a refund as the item is faulty.

I've returned 360's to them outside of the 28 days though and had no issues, you could also say Sony told you to go to them

Off topic, I have a 60gb ps3 which I hear are now out of warranty. If I was to switch mine on one day to find its dead, I'd be screwed! Is it worth me just selling it and buying a new one which have 3 yrs warranty?

New one will have 1 yr warranty, just like the 1st. I know what you mean though, and am thinking the same about my Launch day 60gb (Almost 2 yrs old).

OK well your not going to believe this, I had a read around on-line before I was going to the purple place, and I concluded it was best to get a reference no. from Sony before I went down to them, so rung them up and they said go through this diagnostic (hold down the on button on the front till I hear 2 beeps)

... and to my astonishment the damn thing worked :confused:

I did all this yesterday you can ask e36adz he was here wanting to try the madcatz lol

BUT

last night when I decided that I had to go in-store today, I took the hard drive out and wiped it clean, so pretty much lost everything on the drive

i still say e36 jinxed me

I really dont think theres much point in me playing in this tourny - just got no chance whatsoever - frankly embarrasing myself...

No one can be even bothered to carry on playing afterwards as I doubt theres any learning on there behalf - I dont blame them

pseudo to be fair you've just lost to one of the best players on this forum, he has 20 wins out of 25. There's plenty of other people that you will be more than a match for.
