EDIT: Most fun Ive had on the league though - at one point we were trying to outdo each other on who had the highest dp :p - was schronised :p)

Sort of confirmed......

Not sure whether the first perfect was contested or not, but the second two certainly weren't.

GG's for the first fight dude, don't be too keen to give up though, losing is just as much a part of improving as winning is, you'll still learn something from it, if not about your character then about your opponent for next time.

Pretty much every game I play against Ojste and Margaret have been crushing defeats, plus some guy who's forum name I don't know (PSN: Rainiac) destroys me every single round. But I still carry on...
Think I've played Margaret more than i've played anyone and despite rarely if ever winning I know more about Ryu than I did before I played him and I'm starting to pick up on his style a little. (I'll get you yet Margaret ;))

If you wanna play for practice sake I'm on quite frequently, as are most league players and everyone is happy to spar, so just message up :)

I'll be online later for some games, been playing a lot of ranked games recently and I've got up to 3500BP, I've started to win a lot more games again especially against other Sagat players which is good. I rarely meet (but when I do) I get destroyed by Vega players, I played one today though and won. he was really poor but on 4500BP or something, I have no idea how.

Yeah them 3 are always good if you want to learn. Margaret and Rainiac I always feel/know I'm in there with a good shot, ojste though it's sometimes embarressing playing him, either he keeps getting better or I'm getting worse :o

Had a good session with Rainiac the other day, it finished 4-4, I was Sagat he was... Dan :p
 
guys I need to get some matches in today to stay in the league. Think I only have to have about three match ups to stay in the game. Anyone on today?

I feel I have improved loads over the past few weeks - have even beaten people online with 3000 + BP's, and regularly get around against such people. I still suck at the game though, but at least I feel less of a punch bag nowadays :D

Anyway, anyone I have not played on today? Let me know?

edit - I may suck more than usual - had a drink induced accident on Friday night and think I may have sprained/fractured (don't know yet) my fingers on my right hand. Can still use a joypad - doesn't hurt to much. But if I loose more than usual then at least I have an excuse. ;)

Just scanned through the thread and can't see any posts where either of us have said that's a result, i assume it's just an error mate. We'll duke it out in the next week hopefully ;)

I'm saving the humiliation for another day :p Can't deal with even rubbish blankas let alone YOUR blanka so i'm not looking forward to it.

Still stuck at my parents with thier crappy sixaxis, now i've played a bit the d-pad has loosened up a bit but i'd still rather wait till i'm home in the next couple of days.

I would be more worried about my Balrog, I've been trying out some new combos and mix ups and they worked out pretty well, I nearly had 3 perfects in a row on chris earlier but I got hit by some chip damage. :( :p

I feel as if my Blanka doesn't have much more to learn combo wise so kinda bored, I should work on hop > ultra but aside from that I don't think he needs more work!
 
Oh i am worried about your balrog too, i just know you have to play a match as blanka as he's your chosen... with that information alone i know this won't be pretty.

Oh well, sticks arriving this week, means i get to learn the game from scratch all over again, yay \o/ :(
