STREET FIGHTER IV - £16.19 Pre-Purchase On STEAM - BUY BUY BUY

I'm actually using the keyboard now instead of the 360 pad, having all the attack buttons in the same area makes a bit of difference for me. Though when i was using the 360 pad for most characters, i used the analogue stick, it's not too bad. Much better than the dpad imo anyway.

I know with practice I will get better with the Xbox 360 pad and the game will become less frustrating.

But playing the CPU is bordering on ridiculous.

Changing the difficulty level doesn't seem to make any difference and the computer just spams the same moves over and over.

Sagat spams fireballs, Abel spams the same throw, Rufus seems to be stupidly fast for a fat guy and pumels me with so many combos that I hardly get a hit on him.

Not the most welcoming game to new players.

Just pick Ryu or Ken and relentlessly dragon punch, works for me :D

just played my first online games on the pc version.

first person i played the games were lag free, cant remember how many connection bars.
second person there was a very slight but still noticable delay to my inputs, was 3 bars
third person was completely lag free, 4 connection bars.

Had no issues with frame rates either :)

After reading about other people online experiences with the pc version i was pleasantly surprised at how well it went for me :p

AHA!! So that's how you rained the pain on me last night! :D:(

Had a good session on the PC just now, did all Ryu's normal and hard trials, and got upto G2.

Now I just need to unlock the other characters although I really can't be bothered!

Is the single player option a no no then ?

Just do single player to unlock all the characters, other then that if you want to play single player just do the normal/hard trials.

It's incredibly boring playing vs the computer, the AI is very predictable and easy to beat, you don't actually improve much doing that, you need to get online. :)

Me - but i dont think we'll ever get a game against each other.

Is there no way of just setting up a one on one then?

I'd really like to unlock some characters but I'm struggling against the AI. :( Doing a little better online though after some practising this morning. :)

No, it's just that Margaret and i can neve connect to each other, it seems fine with others.

Just set the arcade mode to easiest, and 1 round. If you do nothing but jump in with an attack, followed by sweep, it should get you to Seth at the very least.
