STREET FIGHTER IV - £16.19 Pre-Purchase On STEAM - BUY BUY BUY

Ah this sucks massive balls. The game keeps on dropping out to Windows on me, and it's really beginning to hack me off. It only (so far at least) seems to do it between fights, on the VS screen or char. select etc.

Tried fiddling with settings and it makes no difference, and is otherwise running perfectly.

I thought all 4 you chose, you were quite good with. Definately have to give my all and think what I'm doing rather then sit back and know its an easy ride lol. Bison I don't have that much practice against except for Margarets who's I've only just played, really struggle against him, he seems to do so much damage with his head stomp. Can't believe I let you get me with that ultra right at the end through the fireball.

Balrog and Blanka I have had loads of practice against, if it was on the ps3 or 360 I would be able to give you good games if you use them.

Akuma, unless someone is really really good with him, hes very hard to use since he takes so much damage so unless you are gonna concentrate hard on him I would say leave him and choose from the other 3.

The lag does get annoying, sometimes its not so bad, sometimes its very bad.
 
Blanka was my old main, but got really bored with him. Tried to main Ryu and Balrog recently but again they're really dull and predictable characters to play :(

All you need to do is copy one file? eg C:\Documents and Settings\name\My Documents\CAPCOM\STREETFIGHTERIV\hexnumbers\save.dat ?

I think i need to format my hard disk, and i don't want to unlock most of the chars again.
 
The lag seems to be a lot better now. Reckon it's people finally realising they need a constant 60fps?

I can get 4-5 bar games easily now too so I'm a lot happier. Hope I didn't put too many people off with my previous complaints :p
 
Yeah I've had better games since last week, still some people who think it's a good idea to run it too high for their system though but it's rare I find them.

Edit: Bah, I can't connect to someones games from here at the moment, annoying. Nothing to do now. :p
 
I have a weird issue where I connect to 2 bar games then it jumps to 4-5 bars once I'm in, but I can't complain too much about that :p

I still get a few randomly dropped button presses though and even have a video where you can hear my stick click but see no jab come out :p
 
Just played Marge and had some awful lag (won through spam though, in case you think I only whine when I lose :p) >_<

Any one else finding the sound really quiet?

Couldn't hear your voice message for some reason Kreeee will have to check my voice playback settings in a bit. I think you will be quite high up in the tournament I can see myself going out fairly early on. Not sure what chars to pick either!

The lag was indeed annoying. :p
