Street Fighter (SFIV, SSFIV, HDR)

Capcom, the masters of patching up and revamping games to resell them.

If only I wasn't such a SF nut case, I've given up on all their other series but have brought every version of SF IV that's come out.

Interesting thou that IGN has reported that there's a discount 'upgrade' version for anyone who brought any of the previous versions of SF IV which includes the original non super/arcade version. Previously capcom has said that the orginal was program in a manner that it couldn't be upgraded/dated hence why they are forced to release it was another game rather than DLC.

Any hows, I wonder how the DLC version of Arcade Edition will upgrade.
 
It will upgrade the same way as AE did to Ver.2012. The discount upgrade is the $15 DLC and will apply to Super, AE and AE:2012 not the original non super version as you have stated. The non discounted version is a full release ala Arcade Edition.

It kinda of sucks that they are just reusing some assets from SFxT but as long as it is balanced then that's the main thing.

No surprise the stages will be SFxT too.

Honestly Capcom, they probably saw all the PC version mods and backports and thought "Yeah, let's not waste any huge effort in this!".

Also, Nemo vs F.Champ $1000 UMvC3 money match tomorrow.

And looks like Eita and Nemo made Top 32 at least for UMvC3.
 
That money match should be good. Never seen Nemo play UMvC3, he would ruin Champ @ SF4 though.

The full disc will come with all character costumes from all versions. Kind of a little bonus, but a kick in the teeth for people who have already forked out for them.
Also preorder gets you dlc cosutmes for the new characters, which will be release a few months after launch.

More announcements to be made just before the finals tomorrow morning.

Especially the stages, they were one of the worst things about SFxT, gave me a headache just watching them. Hopefully they have toned them down a bit.

champ is the better player, but nemo's team does very well against champ. i expect him to beat champ, shame he choked it up in the actual tournament.

fun fact though, nemo teach eita how to play marvel and aboslutely bodied him when they play, and eita finished above him.

i love the "new" characters for sf4. they are really milking this for the next 10 years arent they.

Well at least Eita kind of has an excuse for failing yet again for this year at SFIV, he's been playing a lot more UMvC3, so I guess that's why he's the most successful Japanese in that game thus far. :p

But yeah, losers brackets for both games in the finals are just silly, huge chance that the previous champs of last year will go home early.

Daigo vs Inflitration, and a possible Chris G vs F.Champ too.

Watching KOF finals at the moment, I really need to place some time in KOF13.. Won't it be great if capcom crashed the party by entering in a Shotokan team for KOF14 lol
 
KoF XIII is a great game, just the netcode is disgusting. I quit Marvel for the same reason, there's not enough people who play it locally to make it worth my time and online is basically unplayable.

That moon player who's in the final 8 of MvC looks very good.

I really can't see how they can have injustice and mk.. Not that I've play either; but ain't they basically the same engine?

The combo system is similar but outside of that, they're different games. Injustice is a good game and if you watched any of it yesterday you'd understand why it's at Evo. I play it a lot more than AE now, I just hope NRS leave the game alone until it really needs patched because they're listening to the whiners too much right now and patching stuff that doesn't need to be patched.
 
How is that trolling? Would put Injustice at medicore if it had any kind of difficult combos, altho SFxTK and MvC should be put at scrubby. No links & 80% HP juggles? Lol just lol.
 
You have Street Fighter IV at pro and Tekken Tag 2 as scrubby...that's pretty much why I'm asking are you trolling..I still don't believe you're actually being serious.
