Streets of Rage 4

Mp works and isnt bad but we did have a lot of bother trying to join each others games due to random crashes. I dont think it likes obs or discord in the background unless its something else.

Mine does this, closing and restarting the Xbox app sometimes works as does keep opening it. It should start eventually.
 
Anyone else get missing frames playing online?

The first night it played smooth as butter for hours no lag or missing frames no stutter.

But then last night it was missing frames and flickering/ stutter.

Same friend we both have good connection and pc.

Any ideas?
 
Game sometimes starts, now not starting at all, again sits on the loading screen then crashes back to windows desktop. So much for loading up a game for a quick go, why do they release games that are clearly broken and not fit for release!
 
Logged into my bank today and saw my refund my cdkeys has been paid in, still not heard anything from them though. Pretty poor showing from cdkeys on this one.

I've finished the game on all the main charactors now, Adam is awesome to play he's got really nice synergy with his attacks and his Blitz move is awesome, great CC. I'm gunna do a level as Shiva then probably go back to Axel, he was my first played and so probably has my worst score and times so I want to see what I can do now I have loads of experience.

Axel was my fave in SoR2 but for SoR4 I may have to say Adam, depends on my next run with Axel.

Why? Nothing wrong with it. Game Pass has been brilliant for the next to nothing I paid for it.

Getting 30MB/s+ download speeds on a good day (averaging anywhere between 20MB-30MB/s) and the service hasn't really bothered me. The way it stores files niggles me but it isn't the end of the World and I've played a ton of games on there that I wouldn't have been able to otherwise (Gears of War / Halo / Forza / Plague Tale / Ori / The Long Dark just to mention a few - even if we conservatively cost them at £20 each that's the membership paid for and I've played a lot more than that).

Anyway I was coming in here to say I'm glad it's on Game Pass - doubt I'd pay full price for it but enjoyed it so far.

Aye thanks! Managed to figure it out as his shield regens if he hits you so just gotta avoid that baton :D
 
Looks like no 21:9 due to the nature of the game :(

I've had a look at the steam exe, can use the usual hex edits for aspect ratio, I can get it to fill the screen but the fov is all zoomed in, needs a hex edit for fov but I can't find it.

Good news is it looks possible, bad news is we need someone who knows these things to look at it.

Edit: Someone on steam has claimed that it will not be possible as he watched the digital foundry tech review and nothing exists outside of a 16:9 boundary plus the aspect ratio is tied to how you touch the screen edge to proceed.

Unsure how true that is.

Been playing some online and 99% of the time it runs like ass, I dunno what's up with it. I'm host so shouldn't have lag and my fps is 60, but it plays like my fps is 10.
