Strip club etiquette.

You could probably have a different reaction if your partner was from continental Europe where a strip club perhaps isn't too far removed from a brothel.
Well it's never been on my agenda but I go to two cities once a year for work where people have been known to go a bit mad when the evening-upon-evening of expensed booze takes hold. The two cities in question are Amsterdam and Vegas, lol :o

Question for those that go; why?

If you’re in your twenties, or recently broken up etc I get it, just a laugh, otherwise I just don’t get it.

Sometimes the person organising the stag do decides we're going to one. Aside from stag dos and one random night out where we went to a strip pub for a bit (which is just a pound in the pint glass thing) I've not been to them in the past few years.

PS: Side question. For those who have been to a strip club whilst in a relationship, did you tell your other half before/after/never?
Ended up incidentally in a strip pub on a night out once. Unplanned, it was just where the next drink was coming from. Told my missus when I got home IIRC, she gave me a bit of grief about it. Along the lines of "please can you tell me next time" but I really didn't see it as a big deal. It was just where we all headed, not a conscious intention. I was surprised tbh.

I remember this! :D

The wife is quite okay with strip clubs.

What's disgusting is having near perfect naked bodies rubbed all over you.
I can't say mine is. I was allowed the once for my stag, but ignoring the whole naked women bit, I think I'd be pretty upset if she went on a night out and blew a few hundred quid, so I can say that I'd have to be pretty flush to feel like it was justifiable anyway.

Different if it's someone else's stag of course, but I don't think I'd be able to justify the expense otherwise. Minimum spend is at least £150 for a cheap night at these places + drinks (which, weirdly, were cheaper than the bar we were at before we went there).

Never give up mags
