Stupid Cat

Feed it something laced with copious amounts of rat poison, that ought to get rid of the vermin. There's a cat which craps in my back garden daily and I'm convinced it waits until it knows I'm watching. The dirty eejit always covers it up too.

I'll kill it if I get my hands on it.

How is that possibly dirty? Cats are among the cleanest animals.

Anyway...

Water pistol. Or get one of those little cat shaped cut-outs with the shiny glass eyes. They don't like them.

Tbh cats are the bomb, Be nice to it leave it some food (not poisned) stroke it and stuff and it wont poo in your garden, because cats dont poo where they like :p I did this with a cat from next door and it hasnt done a poo in our garden since, plus you get to stroke a cat! bonus

Aye but I bet the bugger's got fleas or something. I think i'll build a giant mousetrap. I wonder if it'll realise the irony as it lies there being impaled.

Go to the garden centre and get some cat repelent, there are plenty of different types, some people say orange peel works too, if you make your garden inhospitable then he'll go somewhere else. Please don't hurt it, its someones pet and they probably love it very much

My grandfather had terrible trouble with cats in his garden. He took pride in his garden and a team of cats used to defecate all over the show on a daily basis. He tried all sorts of 'humane' repellants but none were effective. He bought a BB gun in the end. The cats soon got the message. It's humane as the BB's dont have enough power to penetrate the cats but its powerful enough to hurt them, i.e. get the message across.

Best £40 he ever spent he reckons.

And if he hits one in the eye?

Massive vet bill or death followed by prosecution funded by the RSPCA :/

As a cat owner I'd be devestated to lose my cats and god help anyone I found actively TRYING to hurt them, I'm not a violent chap nor am I a keyboard warrior but they'd need to be on their toes pretty sharpish

If the cat owners can't control their cats then they should expect to pick up the bill for cleaning our gardens. If they're not prepared to do that the it's up to the property owner to do something about it. I'm not being a 'keyboard warrior' but when my neighbours cat has its daily crap in my garden, I'm the one left to pick it up. I politely asked my neighbour to clean it up but he wanted nothing to do with it. I'm tempted to get a BB gun myself.

What's the chances of hitting it in the eye? Probably about the same as me contracting a disease from the cats excrement. I'm willing to take that risk, I'm sick to the teeth of cleaning up after someones filthy housepet.

Well there are plenty of humane ways to stop cats and if you haven't exhausted them all I'm pretty disgusted that you feel within you rights to resort to hurting it maybe causing lasting damage and possibly killing it.

If you do use a BB gun on a cat and I hope someone sees you and reports you to the RSPCA and they prosecute to the fullest extent of the law for animal cruelty.

Sorry but thats the way I feel.
