I'm thinking more along the lines of why everyone has it in for Suarez now compared to with players who had a one off incident. I'm not debating whether or not the punishment should be different.
 
Year ban etc. for this is over the top. I would not have argued a year+ for the racism rubbish, as that's by far the most serious and damaging thing he's ever done, one of the worst things I've seen in football.

How is the racism worse than that 'tackle' he did for Ajax?

Maybe I'm being naive but I'd rather be racially abused than someone attempting to end my career or assault me.

(Not belittling racism before I'm accused of defending him if he was racist)
 
So echo are reporting it seems via twitter that according to a leading lawyer we could look to sue him for breach of contract if found guilty, twitter though so no idea if any of its accurate and that either 3/4 match ban is what he may get but only for international games

I really don't think this is likely. More likely we'll see more t-shirts or some Suarez branded mouth guards.

I don't think we would sue him either, as all clubs we will most likely offer support but maybe this time sell him on only so much we back him for. Whatever punishment he gets its deserved imo, I think it will be quite severe due to his past antics

He thinks there is a possibility? There isn't it's pretty much a fact he will be, I'm more interested in seeing what we will do or if we make a formal of statement at all. I'd be surprised if he gets no punishment at league level
 
I just hope it puts Barca/Madrid off signing him, IF they don't ban him from football for life and throw in him jail for slightly marking a man's shoulder.
