I would be pretty sure it would fall foul of EU Human Rights Legislation on the grounds of denying someone their right to earns living from a chosen profession.

Simple fact is Suarez did us over in the world cup and gloated after, that hurt us so we are baying for his blood and these 'lifetime bans' are a bit ridiculus but this is his third strike on the biting so he needs be made an example of.

He's talking about ability to ban someone for life and whether it's in breach of human rights etc. and pointing out that lifetime drugs related bans don't seem to be challenged on that basis.
