So if he ran onto the pitch and head butted the ref whiule playing for Uruguay he should still be eligible for Liverpool because it's not your responsibility. It's clubs like Liverpool that help cause this, sticking up for players in the wrong and constantly making them feel as though they can do no wrong and everything get's brushed away because they are worth a fortune.

I didn't say anything about a ban affecting us, I mentioned its not our responsibility for his actions playing for a different team?

We stuck up for him when he last bit someone?

Alternatively if the Premier League had any respect for the FA or England they'd insist on max 2 foreign players fielded per team, but there is about as much chnace of that happening as there is of LFC sacking Suarez..........

not when players like Luke Shaw are worth 40m....

Basically stop overpricing british players and teh top teams will invest more on them!

he doesnt give a **** mate. else he wouldnt have committed the offence 3 times.

If anything, Suarez is exceedingly fair with his nuttery. He has bitten people 3 times, once for Ajax, once for Liverpool and once for his country. He handled the ball on the line for Uruguay yet he made sure he racially abused Evra for Liverpool.

Respect.

And just the small obstacle of European Employment Law.

Jesus people on Liverpool forums are showing such a victim complex, oh no fifa have shafted us over this punishment!

NO THEY HAVEN'T LUIS 'CANNIBAL' SUAREZ HAS DONE THAT TO US! It's the third time (twice whilst his club is LFC).

Stronger than I expected from FIFA and probably on balance about right, it should be clearly stated that he must enrol in a course of therapy and that any repeat will result in serious consequences.

You seem surprised

I'm surprised at the severity of the responses I mean:

4 Months is madness. Absolutely insane.

I'm blown away by the number of fans who think that's fair. **** fans of other clubs. Their only motive is to weaken us and laugh their asses of. LFC fans? What are you thinking???? It's not fair for us at all.

4 months? That's an insane opening towards punsihment of players in international games.

How the **** can you ban Suarez (and punish his club!!??) when you let other people off for insane acts of violence with maximum 3 INTERNATIONAL games!?

Pepe comes to mind

This is a very, very unfair ruling. This is not a matter of "it could be worse". This is a scandal in it self. A 2 year ban from international football had been nothing compared to this.... frankly they hit us harder than anyone... even Suarez, who in my eyes is finished. He actually just became a perfect example of just not being worth it. Brilliant and yet he ruins **** all the time.

Agree completely. It seems to me they just pulled the decision out of their arse! Really hope we can appeal this as I don't think that FIFA have that much ground to stand on in terms of justifying the severity of their ban. I'm still fuming!
