Sending him home from the WC will be the biggest blow to him to be honest. He's pretty much shown himself up as a global disgrace and let his entire country down. He needs help though to sort himself out or it will just keep happening. I didn't see the point of a huge ban unless the motive is to destroy him as a player, not fix his issues.

On a scale of one to throwing the league away last season, how angry would Liverpool supporters be if he appears and gets the ban pushed back so that he misses another month of the EPL season.

Hopefully we appeal and its massively reduced

Only a liverpool fan would disagree with this.

Terrible. Liverpool fans dont care oif there players are racist cannibles. so long as they get the goals innit.
No morality in some fans.

Shocking.

So glad he did not go to arsenal

What a **** joke.. 2 months of that is in closed season..!!!!!

If Liverpool have any respect for the Premier League and in the interest of of other players, they'd sack him..

Let's not forget.. this the 3rd time, plus one racial abuse ban.. Anyone else, this would be a prison sentence.

He's ** laughing - again

Liverpool don't have a right of appeal.

Hopefully we influence whoever is looking after Luis to if they think there's a good chance its reduced.

I'm assuming you mean appeal and not very as I doubt he is going to be making that decision.

It might seem tough on Liverpool, and it is in a way, but where do you draw the line?... Can you basically do anything and then move clubs and claim that the new club shouldn't be punished for something he did for a previous club? I know it is muddied by club/country, but the player must be punished first and foremost.

100m my arse. wont be sold for no more then 40m imo

won't be going anywhere untill 1st November anyhow. Not sure if anyone can buy him in this transfer window now ,as he can't sign anyway as he has an administrative ban also. He'll be at Nou Camp in the January transfer window. Thats just enough time for him to regain match fitness at LFC and come to la liga in top shape.

If he appeals and loses then he can play until appeal but the 4 months eats more into liverpools season?

Personally I think he's lucky and got off lightly that he only misses 9 games for liverpool.

The way I look at, HE has ****ed Liverpool over not FIFA, they didn't make him bite the poor guy. They just had to hand out the punishment for him disgracing himself in front of millions of viewers.

not if he appeals.

If he appeals he can still play at the WC

No he can't. Please do read dearest. It was on the BBC site that even if he appeals the ban stands, his WC is over.
