It is quite ironic, the apologists are doing the worthless **** more harm than good by saying he didn't do it or it's too harsh.

He did do it, and regardless of club affiliation he clearly doesn't care what he does and he needs to address himself.

People spouting off about how hard done by he is how it's too harsh, how he didn't do it, you aren't helping him you are enabling his disgusting behaviour.

Yup, after every major incident he's been rewarded and while on some occasions he's taking a apologist stance in public, behind closed doors he's signing new contracts or moving to new clubs for more money.

If Uruguay actually said "Suarez.... you've utterly ****** us for the world cup, we're utterly disgusted with you, you're out of the national team but if you behave well for the next two years we'll consider bringing you back"....

he might actually stop this crap, he might finally learn attacking people isn't okay, he could become a better footballer. Seen people talk about removing his aggression would make him a worse footballer, nonsense, firstly it's about redirecting it and secondly he does these things in off the ball incidents which haven't directly helped him at all.

When literally everyone anywhere near Suarez for 99% of the time is telling him he did nothing wrong from a child till now, while I blame Suarez for not thinking about it himself and realising he's in the wrong, I also blame all the people around him, Liverpool included.

If a kid kicks another kid you tell the kid it's wrong, you maybe punish him or talk or whatever. But if you say no, while holding out some sweets or a new toy for the kid at the same time... the kid learns nothing. You bit someone... get more money by moving to Liverpool, bit someone else, fat new contract with a HUGE raise, even bigger clubs show interest, etc. If Barca bought him now, after this, giving him even more money... he'll never learn.

Wonder would he of got the club ban if he was at barca or madrid, I think he'll be leaving, His agent was in Barcelona yesterday, Barca have had their transfer embargo suspended so.

Has Suarez himself made a statement yet?

"after the impact ... I lost my balance, making my body unstable and falling on top of my opponent ... At that moment I hit my face against the player leaving a small bruise on my cheek and a strong pain in my teeth,"

From the AP just now, who've seen his defence that has been given to Fifa. He does fall over a lot to be fair to him. And the above statement means that it wasn't Chiellini's arm that made his mouth hurt!

About time the truth came out, no wonder the Italian cheat came out and said the punishment was unjust

lol, if he was honest, and the Uruguay team weren't being utterly pathetic about it, I wouldn't mind them scaling it back slightly, mostly the training and stadium ban. But the utter utter lies being spouted, the utterly idiotic defence of the indefensible, I'd be quite happy to see them add some on... he just won't learn.

I say add 2 more games on(.... checks when Arsenal play liverpool :p ) but add another 3-6 month suspended ban on with a statement basically saying, if you refuse to accept what you did, if you refuse to learn from your mistakes, if you insist on believing the people around you who are lying to you telling you you've done nothing wrong you will end up out of the sport.

Take some ******* responsibility.

I can't decide what's bringing more disrepute upon the game - Suarez himself or his legion of apologists/deniers. It's absolutely shameful.

We moan about footballers living in their own bubbles, but that's nothing compared to the complete vacuum of thinking some fans have created for Suarez to disappear into.

I feel more sorry for Liverpool FC who are going to have to shoulder the burden of this ban - financially, politically, and competitively.

The same Liverpool who rewarded his behaviour with a new contract after his last bite? Don't fell sorry for them, this is to be expected and they not only allowed it but rewarded it

Nice try. With your reasoning then all those who voted for him to get player of year last season also rewarded him for the bite.

Wat? He'd bitten twice and had a racism charge and that wasn't enough for Liverpool, it's only logical he'd continue his bad behaviour, I knew it, you did and so did Liverpool. If you give someone a contract who you know is hugely liable to get a new ban, don't be surprised when he gets his new ban, and certainly do expect sympathy
