suarez admitted saying negro?

I've not read all (well much) of the report but one point from there that's been highlighted by others - the FA's independent linguistic experts state that if you believe Suarez's version of events, the use of the word wasn't racist or offensive however if you believe Evra's, it was.

Unless Suarez has simply been charged for the use of the word Negro, rather than the intentions to offend, then it is down to 1 mans word against the others.

Mr Evra told us that he began the conversation by saying "Concha de tu hermana".
Which the FA have dismissed because they said the translation to English doesn't mean the same as it does in Spanish...

Edit: And this...

"Mr Evra said that the phrase "ten times" was just a figure of speech in France."

that's the basis of the report, it's an objective rule. Oh, and as you Liverpool fans did enjoy throwing at Evra the comission found Suarez unreliable.

ROFL.
So when do we see the video evidence? Doubt Suarez is thick enough to admit to being openly racist despite some saying it is at best naive to say negro

Just read the edit pigeon, surely you're joking.

So Evra tells Suarez he is South American and Suarez tells Evra he is black. Are they not just stating facts to each other?

In all seriousness having read through that report I conclude that Evra is a bit of a cry baby and that Suarez has been very very naive but in no way is he racist. Probably deserves some punishment so as to serve as a reminder that he can't say it in this country. 8 games is a bit much though.

It looks to me that the FA have been on the lookout for a high profila 'patsy' to promote their campaign of 'lets kick it out.'

Looks like Luis was the unfortunate patsy.

As I said, I've not read the whole report yet. I was responding to your point that because Suarez has admitted to saying something, it can't be a case of 1 persons word against another.

I'm reading it now so I'll give my opinion after.

No they dismissed the literal translation, the literal translation being something about Suarez's sister.

That's not the same as using a word which describes someone who's black being taken out of the context intended (if you believe Suarez's account of things).

Like I said whether you believe Suarez was being racist or just naive he did admit to making reference to Evra's skin colour

my point was correct though. It's not a case of one persons word against another is it?

Wait, Liverpool fans are still defending Suarez, um ..

Very worrying. I'm actually stunned.

Suarez now knows what that monkey felt like in it's trial in Hartlepool. A kangaroo court of port drinking snobs using the English language to confuse and entrap him.

The monkey got hanged.

"We reject Mr Kuyt's evidence that Mr Evra said that the referee was only booking him because he was black, however certain Mr Kuyt was"

How do they decide this stuff? Picking sides for lulz?

Apparently evra can be a credible witness to an incident based around himself?

I'm more worried about the clubs statement to be honest. Look at what they said about Evra when they were fully aware he had been called a negro.

That's 1 of the big issues here. Calling somebody a negro is very different to calling them negro. I don't think Suarez has admitted to calling him a negro.

It's been a massive disgrace, it's surreal. They all said they were waiting for the report, now the independent review has has come out and all but called Suarez a liar on several occasions as well as guilty of racist abuse, people still side with him  as I said, it's just worrying.

Aye, Henry and Kenny hate blacks, don't you know?

They did though didn't they Purdy? They gave evidence in which they admitted and stated that Suarez called Evra a negro and then they called Evra a liar and unreliable casting aspersions on him.

Disgraceful behaviour.
