Suicide and WoW

Nope it happened in WoW. Saw a video of the attack, should be a vid floating around somewhere. Was so harsh but so funny but it's stupid really to have it in a PvP enabled zone let alone in the game itself.

And tried to kill himself, if I was going to commit suicide I would succeed first time none of this half arsein about, it was either a cry for help but if he needs help there is only one person that can help him and that is himself.

Lol bit of a coincidence. As I read that, the song I'm listening to went "Cause there's nothing more pathetic than a cry for help, either you do or you don't want to kill yourself, everybody knows you have a problem so it don't matter if you admit it, what you gotta do is be a man and ******* deal with it".

nothing against suicide personally aslong as the person doing it doesnt take the lives of others along the way.

i think my survival instinct is to strong for me to ever attempt suicide no matter how bad my life seemed at the time.

Don't try and dress up being a coward :)

If you're going to kill yourself, you jump infront of a train, take a shotgun to your head etc... namby pamby wrist slashing or pill overdosing is attention seeking with risk attached.

i thought suicide was the cowards way out?

i agree with wrist slashing though if you really wanted to kill your self in that way you would slash from your hand all the way up to your elbow not across the wrist...

btw i knew someone that drove trains on the london metro and he hit a jumper, it messed him up pretty badly, he couldnt go back to his job for months and needed loads of counselling

Poor guy :( It's quite ironic that people here are criticising him here for having no life, playing WoW etc when perhaps it's them who should be stepping away from the keyboard and re-reading the hate they've just spouted here.

Depression is not something to be taken lightly, it's a disease like any other. Would you laugh and make fun of someone with Polio?

It's a terrible shame that anyone should take a game so seriously but as has been mentioned it would seem that he has/had mental problems pre-existing to playing the game. While it may have been a trigger point it would be unfair to solely blame the others who were in the clan with him.

The guy seriously had issues, and as most people say - WoW would have given him the stability he needed, but he should have seeked some other help as WoW isn't the best of crutches to have.

One thing that did make me smirk is people screaming on the WoW forums "Anyone that speaks ill of him I hope will die a horrible death" Well, not everyone has to be super nice about it - some people might have thought he was a right jerk!

Very sad. :(

But I'm afraid to say it's the blame games thing again... if he hadn't attempted suicide over being kicked from the guild then it would have just been something else that made him depressed further down the line, the guy needed help.
