Really happy with torreira hes looked quality and will add much needed resilience to our midfield

Uruguay midfielder Lucas Torreira and France Under-20 international Matteo Guendouzi are set to have medicals at Arsenal on Monday.

The Gunners have an agreement in place with Serie A side Sampdoria for the £26m transfer of 22-year-old Torreira.

He is seen as a key recruit by new Arsenal boss Unai Emery, who has already made three signings.

Midfielder Guendouzi, 19, will join from Lorient and is viewed as a top-level prospect for the future.

Really cant wait to see if Ronaldo deal comes through , hopefully it will raise the profile of Juventus even more and raise the bar in serie A in general

dybala , higuain , ronaldo front 3 could be fun

also reading in the Italian press side of things agnelli family who own juve also own fiat ferrari etc will make him a poster boy of Ferrari that's how they aim to cash in on his wage costs etc

Super car manufacturers don’t need poster boys. The types who can afford to spend nigh on £300k on a car, are not going to have their decision swayed by pics of Ronaldo laying over the bonnet, and Fiat tend to prefer women and hipsters.

I don't see the attraction for Ronaldo to go to Juve - they are nailed on for the title regardless, and they probably have a 90% chance of getting to the 1/4 of the CL every year at the very least (without him ) and beyond that its so close and such fine margins ….I hope he gets a CL there, Im just not sure it proves much at all (apart from really improving his bank balance of course)

All the people talking about Licko providing competition for Bellerin I don't really get; Bellerin has had loads of competition in recent years i.e. Debuchy, Chambers, Jenkinson, Maitland-Niles, Oxlade-Chamberlain etc.. I guess it depends a bit on what formation Emery wants to go with at Arsenal, Bellerin for me is more of a wingback but Licko could slot into a back 4.

Good luck to Wilshere at West Ham, for me personally I've still not seen a more exciting Arsenal youth product since he burst onto the scene 10 years ago.
