Chelsea have sold Angelo Gabriel to Al Nassr for £19m and made a £6m profit even though he never played for them

Chelsea signed the 19-year-old forward for £13m from Santos last summer and he spent last season on loan at parent club Strasbourg

Everything that's wrong with Football finances etc in one deal there....

You do realise that's the model of most clubs outside of the big ones. Heck the Portuguese teams are the best at it
Very few clubs do it on the industrial scale that Chelsea and to a certain extent Man City and most look to buy unproven players with potential give them an opportunity to develop and prove themselves and then sell them on for a profit this is in no way the same as hoovering up players you know will never represent the club just for profit, and just because others do it doesn't make it right. Chelsea also seem to be trading them between clubs under the same ownership for inflated prices just to balance the rules which again is really odd.
