I fully expect a huge rave when Park leaves according to certain members on here.

I love Park, always have. Very industrious, great passing and has gotten a lot stronger on the ball in the last couple of seasons and started scoring more goals as a result.

I for one am ****ing glad O'Shea is gone. Gibson next please.

I'd like to see the O'shea everybody else has been watching for the past few years, because the one I have been watching has, for at least the past 3 seasons, been utter trash for the most part.

He literally has been just slightly better than having nobody play there at all.

Saw it on SSN just now. 'Arry was talking before him saying of course you'd want to go somewhere where they can treble your wages. Can't remember what else he said.

hopefully he said ''we're going to have to get real and pay our best player more than gibson, £40k p/w''

Park is a workhorse just like Fletcher, i dont think i have seen anyone run as much as what Park does, maybe Tevez. What Park lacks in talent, he makes up with heart and determination, he will never be an amazing playmaker and needs decent players around him, but he is under rated and an un sung hero for what he does.

With Nani, Young and Valencia though, i dont see much room for Park in the team, unless they are going to sell Valencia.

Hahaha :D Malaga have put a bid in of Euros35m for Sneijder! :D If they actually had a bid accepted they could just offer him what ever money he wanted!

According to?

Sky?

read it in today's telegraph. it could be inaccurate but he's definitely had a renegotiation so that would lead me to believe he was either a. not in our highest earning bracket or b. he has just broken our highest earning bracket. knowing levy, i'd go for a.

a google search of modric £40000 returns a few results to back it up too

Never has it been cleared up what he's on. Infact, on the matter he had this to say himself:

I am quite annoyed with all the headlines about my wages. Croatia is in recession, the economic situation is hard and I don't like it when numbers are being thrown around.

The media constantly change their mind over what a player earns. The Telegraph reported in 2010 that he was on £60k a week.

Sad to see O'Shea go....

Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away...and now it looks as though their here to stay. Oh I believe in John O'Shea! Why he had to go, I don't know...Fergie wouldn't say. Wes said something wrong, now I long for yesterday!

:D

United fans sad at loosing O'shea?.... They continually berated him ?

He was known as O'****e in our house.

Now hurry up and sign a midfielder so we can crack on with pre season.

Ditto for O'Shea?

Papers should be made to give more of an inkling who their sources are, most of these transfer storys seem so far from the truth it is unreal.

Our local paper up here just reads the Aberdeen FC forum and prints any made up rumour on there. Doubt it is much different in nationals. :P

surely you arent comparing Scholes's importance to Utd (as a player, not in a positional sense) to that of OShea ?

OShea was never as good as Scholes was on his worst day (well maybe not including some of thie infamous red card days lol) - but OShea was still worth having around

Now Utd have younger (and arguably better) defenders, OShea and Brown were just taking up squad spaces and wages un-necessarily

Admittedly majority of our defenders are more at home centrally (apart from Evra , and Da Silva's) but a lot can also play in FB positions too not to mention Giggs and Valencia too (lol)
