I am happy i am just saying that a few more signings would be nice. Not necessarily needed but if God forbid we have a Arsenal type crisis where we lose a lot of players at once and then of course we lose a couple to AOC then we could be regretting we didnt have a strong enough team to challenge for trophies.

Agree - take the (big) wad of cash! He doesn't want to play for Spurs anymore, he's made that quite clear.

I honestly don't think Spurs could get many players who could directly replace him. Admittedly, they could have replaced him in the middle of the pitch with a different type of player, and gone out and spent big on a striker (and possibly a right winger?), but as a central midfielder I honestly can't think of many better.

SSN, Arteta to Arsenal back on apparently? Tbh whilst i rate Arteta he hasnt been same player for he was for a couple seasons but good luck to him if it happens
