LOL mate im always reading something or another about Arsenal on the internet these days:p. Hard to say who to believe about our transfers and Wenger/Arsenal tend to stay tight lipped about our transfers.

Rooney is an interesting one, i say i dont want him but if he came to us on lower wages and not a stupid transfer fee then i have no problem with that. But if we are going to be paying £250-300k a week then i have a huge issue with that because for me??, hes not worth anywhere that much. But who knows, Usmanov is saying get him and im sure he would do very well for us depending on how fit he keeps himself. Also he wants to be the main man at his next club, one of the reasons why he was miffed when RVP came in and took over scoring goals. At Arsenal he would be the main man but like i said i dont want us to kill ourselves getting him financially.

What i do want to see is more deadwood being shipped out, get Fellaini, Williams and another RB and possibly another DM or AM into the squad.

Which deadwood do we have left? Bendtner (lol), diaby santos.... actually we have loads left :p:o

I'm not sure about Fellaini, would he fit into our style of play? Not got a great first touch and not the best passer, maybe use him at DM but I doubt he has the discipline. We do need a DM, as good as Arteta has filled that position, he's better further forward. I think defence is alright bar Sagna but looks like he's not going anywhere.

Wingers? We have theo, podolski, the ox and santi can fill in there but not ideal so another winger would be good.

If we get Higuain, a DM and a winger, i'd be happy

Realistically I can't see arsenal signing Rooney and higuin. Maybe one of the two but not both. Giroud isn't a bad option for them with a decent first season.

I think its all tabloid rubbish about us going after rooney

I think Fellaini would give us the much needed strength in the middle of the pitch, we definitely need another 'Viera' type of player. I know he gets a lot of flak Fellaini but i think with Wenger nurturing him, he may well turn out to be good but £22mill release clause is pretty hefty imho.

Yep more deadwood out, Chamakh and Gervinho are 2 id like to see go along with the walking injury note that is Diaby and perhaps even Rosicky although i wouldnt mind seeing him stay if he can keep fit for more than 1 day:p.

Id like us to sign another decent RB as well although Sagna is now discussing a new contract with us :(. But i honestly think Jenks should start at RB, he was far and away better than Sagna last season but if Sagna stays and Wenger persists on starting him....i just hope he doesnt have a terrible season like he did last season with us.

Fingers crossed the Higuain deal is soon rubberstamped and hes our squad player for next season.

I see no reason that Fellaini can't play in a DM position, he plays that kind of position more often than not for Belgium.

:/ can someone please make the madness stop with running man and his stupid misspelt words??.

Either hes being serious or hes just an epic troll.

They say if you ask a stupid question to expect a stupid answer.

Seriously in a discussion about neymar, missing one letter for the adjacent key somehow causes a brain malfunction to the reader? I'm thinking I'm not the one who needs help.

I think we should just put Rosicky on a pay as you play deal. Rosicky was amazing towards the end with his drive and workrate, he always has plenty of engery at the end of the season. Might be because he has a summer and winter break :p

I can see Sagna sticking around for the last year of his contract. We were linked to a RB. Jenkins needs to claim it though but I could easily see Sagna keeping the slot if he stays.

Higuain needs to sign up quick before other teams show an interest. £22-24m would be great.

Really can't see Rooney happening, don't think he'd want to come to us and don't think we can justify completely ruining our wage structure like that.

It's a done deal .

Its only a done deal when its announced on the Arsenal website...till then i wont believe it.

What's this 'very reliable Arsenal Source'? The daily mirror? daily star? talk****e?

You forgot the Daily Fail and goal.com:p

Pretty much what i think as well, id be surprised if break our wage structure to get Rooney in, already broken it with Higuain and his £130k a week deal...if thats to be believed.

On the other hand we do need to pay these players good money otherwise we just wont be able to compete for trophies and neither will we get world class/decent players in especially when you have the likes of Utd, City and Chelsea also flexing their financial muscle.
