Grant Holt having a medical at Wigan today, finding it hard to believe that he would leave a Premiership team to go down to a team in the championship.

Unless his contract came to an end and Norwich didnt want him anymore??.

£4.4mill for Villa to go to Atletico Madrid, cheap as chips:p

Mario Gomez is looking likely to go to Fiorentina, £20mill is the rumoured fee. Good player and scored plenty of goals for Bayern...

Villa:
€2.1M up front
€2M if he stays the following year
€1M if he stays for the third year.

If he is sold, Barca take 50% of whatever he sells for.

Here is an official Bayern article, that Gomez is going to Bayern: http://www.fcbayern.telekom.de/en/news/news/2013/43543.php

Also, seems like its official, Mikhatryian (sp) to Dortmund, but I can't find an official statement. Many sources saying its official though.

I checked a few websites, and it seems like the rumors of Osvaldo to City and Pjanic to Tottenham have been reported. It even seems like Osvaldo to City is close to done, as he didn't turn up to Roma's pre-season training. Roma directors gave some bs excuse why he didn't report for training, but I feel its just a cover up.

I have also read rumors of Nani to Roma/Monaco, and Roma were also linked to......
......
......
......
GERVINHO!!!!

Rumored fee, £8M.

Whilst I know nobody gives two ****es about Roma, Arsenal fans may like this news :p

Strootman close to Roma. Fee between €17M and €20M and €2.5M to the player. Not sure why he would chose Roma over man United though.

Also, Jedvaj has completed a medical and should become a Roma player soon. Fee is rumored to be around €5M.

Arsenal should go for Jackson Martinez, cheaper than Suarez and they can invest in other area's of the pitch as well since it looks like Liverpool want £50 million + for him.

I real Napoli are on him! I swear Napoli have a great team.

Albiol, Calejon, Mertens, Hamsik, Inler, Maggio and now even Reina and Higuain!

Seems like Gervinho is going to Roma, and Osvaldo going the other way.

Wouldn't mind if Osvaldo goes to Arsenal, but I won't take less than €20M. Don't rate Gervinho much, mostly because all the Arsenal fans moan about him :D:p

Looks Like Liverpool are close to signing Derby youngster Will Hughes. I saw him on Saturday, and whilst he wasn't brilliant, you could tell he was a classy player. He is very highly thought of.... Apparently, even Barca were sniffing around him at one point!

He's great on FM.

No doubt Liverpool will pay some £20M for him and then he flops.

If he flops like Coutinho he'll be a bargain at £20 million.

I'm not sure why you still grab on Coutinho. Did you forget Downing, Allen, Carroll, Borini, Sahin, Henderson, Adam, Coates and Aquilani.

Coutinho played half a season, and you speak about him like he is the best player to grace the PL. He was an average/good player in a team made up of bad players. Let him play a full season before you judge. Liverpool should aim to finish top 4, not in the Europa League.

I think it's because you are our self-appointed Serie A guru and... yeah...
Yes. Just look at the ammount of posts I have in this thread.

Then you are all Premier League gurus?

Borini: Too early to judge, hasn't even had half a season playing without injury, let alone a full season.
Sahin: Loan deal?
Henderson: 16million looks like a very reasonable price
Adam: 7million?
Coates: 7Million?
Aquilani: Playing in the national team at this moment in time I believe

At least we haven't spunked 8million quid on Gervinho :p
Oh, so its too early to judge Borini, but its not too early to judge Coutinho, although according to Wikipedia, he played 7 more games than Coutinho.

Loan deal, and wages

So you are telling me that if you had 16M, you would spend it on Henderson, rather than another midfielder?

20M for a player who played 28 matches in 2 years? Not a bad deal at all . He only got called up to the Italian national team after he played with Fiorentina. Although no official fee was released, you and I both know that they didn't get anything near the £20M Liverpool spent on him.

Also, funny how you say that Coates and Adam were 'cheap' at 7M, but then you already feel that Gervinho is a flop, when he was paid just 1M more, and hasn't even played one game for the club.

Saying that, I feel that Gervinho is a complete waste of money, and playing Nico Lopez instead would have been better.

Also, no idea why I am answering. What i said was obviously a joke because Liverpool have been overpaying quite a lot in the recent years.
