I'm pretty sure Liverpool would still sell him if they're offered more, they said the same about Torres: http://www.theguardian.com/football/2010/oct/30/liverpool-fernando-torres-jose-reina

I don't think there is such a thing as 'not for sale', everyone is for sale at a price.

Where did he say Torres wouldn't be sold?

And for what it's worth, I don't believe that it's 100% that Suarez won't be sold. If a very big offer comes from abroad then it's possible (not necessarily likely though), it would need to be a ridiculous offer for him to join Arsenal though.

Henry's been incredibly clear and put his balls on the line. It's going to take something major for him to change his stance.

Just like Rooney.

Oh wait......

What?

I got the impression it was implied, but yes, it's not as clear as the situation now.

I'm glad out owners are standing firm and I agree to not sell to any one in the premier league but due to his antics and all the hassle I wouldn't be surprise if they let him go abroad, on another note aly chissokho saying he has agreed terms with us but waiting on us and Valencia to decide if its a loan or permanent

A 50m bid and that attitude will change imo.

You were acting like its a done deal and was sure fabregas was joining united, no need

Ooh, you must work for time team. They like dragging up ancient history.

What is the point in keeping Suarez if no-one else comes in for him?

It makes no sense. You aren't our rivals. West Brom and Swansea are more your level now.

As Mr Cholmondley-Warner once said about women.

KNOW YOUR PLACE

To be honest if someone comes in from the continent with a decent bid (£40m plus) we should be all over it. Can't see it happening though.

Ancient history? You posted that crap within the last month.

Suppose those teams are more competitive when it comes to winning trophies

you going to bid £10m? :p

Nah it will be 10p more like:p

Lol that's a big **** you to Wenger. Long overdue too.

Well played John.

Yeh well played John, an owner who tweeted what are they smoking down at the Emirates, knowing full well why we bid £40mill + £1 for your racist little cannibal. The hilarious thing is that some guy then tweeted back saying, cant be any worse than that Grade A **** you were smoking when you signed off on Andy Carrol;);p.

I hope you keep Suarez and i really hope he drags your name through the mud again this season...its only a matter of time before he does:p.

For some more hilarious tweets regarding what your owner said about Arsenal, go here: http://balls.ie/football/the-twitter-reaction-to-john-w-henry-asking-what-theyre-smoking-at-arsenal/

Some comedy gold tweets in there:p

I prefer

"I believe for us it is important the message we give out. For example, you talk about Fabregas leaving, Nasri leaving.

"If you give that message out, you cannot pretend you are a big club, because a big club first of all holds onto its big players and gives a message out to all the other big clubs that they just cannot come in and take away from you.

Arsene Wenger -July 2011

Hahaha Arsenal fans changing their tune so much

More good news for them

Understand #afc did not make offer for Higuain. Agreed personal terms but put deal on hold to prioritise Suarez, Napoli pounced #bbcfootball

David ornstein is the quote above btw forgot to say
