At the end of the day, Liverpool have as much hope of reaching the champs league as I have of raising my Nan from the dead.

Why can't they understand that Suarez wants to play champions league football? And Liverpool can't give him that for the rest of his career.

You seem awfully upset about this considering you claim that you don't want Suarez.

Hardly:p...ive always said i dont want Suarez at Arsenal..sure hes a good player but meh id rather you lot deal with the **** he gives you...you still wont get CL football though:p

Stop being bitter because the deal is Sanogo now

Soon is a bit vague.

Before Suarez retires? Sure

For Suarez to stay in the hope that you get Champs league is a major gamble in his career that he cannot afford to take.

I hated RVP leaving, but I understood his reasons and never attacked Man U for coming him for him.

He shouldn't have signed a 4 year contract then.

And RvP left Arsenal to win trophies, like Nasri and Fabregas done. I'm not sure there's the same attraction to join a club that'll get knocked out in the quarter finals of the CL and at best finish 4th in the league.

Come next summer we'll not stand in his way should a decent bid come in from a non PL side. He might even go in January if there's sufficient interest and we can replace him.

Understand #afc did not make offer for Higuain. Agreed personal terms but put deal on hold to prioritise Suarez, Napoli pounced #bbcfootball

David ornstein is the quote above btw forgot to say

I think this is quite important, as it means Arsenal would have got Higuain but they decided to put all their eggs in the Suarez basket, so to speak.

Not really the most wise of decisions, was it?

Could also mean they are more desperate so will quite possibly start raising the offer.

I know full well that he would rather join Real. But it's not an option atm. He wants CL football, that Arsenal can provide.

Pool fans seem to have an inability to realise that they are not top 4 quality any more. Their not even the best team in Liverpool if you believe the league. If they stop clinging on to past glories, they may be able to concentrate on the future more productively.

The owners have clearly stated he won't be going to Arsenal. Period. Only striker/big name left is Rooney. I think u lot would sell him to them for 40 million seeing as they aren't rivals.
