Also Etoo is most likely on the transfer list now is he not, due to Anzi cutting their budget and having a new plan for their future. He would be a lot cheaper and better than Rooney, but he is on crazy wages (so is Rooney apparently), therefore there are alternatives out there, Chelsea do not need to go for Rooney if it's going to take big money.

Thats why im thinking if Chelsea dont get Rooney then they might plump for Eto instead. I just cant see Utd selling Rooney to Chelsea of all teams, that would strengthen them massively and weaken Utd. But id love to see Arsenal come in with a £40-50mill bid for Rooney just to nark off Chelsea and Utd saying ok Arsenal you can have him:p....not going to happen in case some Utd fans burst an artery over what i just said:D

Since when has Rooney publically said he's not happy at Man Utd this transfer window? It's been all talk, rumours started and Fergie said. Fergie probably trolled everyone before he left.

He hasnt but looking at the game against Swansea the other week, he didnt look too enthused about celebrating the goal;). His body language in that game doesnt look to say 'Hey im happy here plz dont sellz me!!111!!':D.

Will be interesting to see what his body language says when he plays against Chelsea come Monday night, wonder if Moyes will start him...pretty sure he doesnt want to warm the bench as it is.

This has been dragging on for ages. Did he walk out there?

Interesting then that he didnt want to play today, unless Arsenal have come back with a better offer, i hope not as he isnt someone we need.

Wenger says there has been no new offer. According to BBC Sport, Cabaye 'refused to play' today.

I'd say you can have him, but I don't trust Joe Kinnear to get in a top-class replacement in the next 9 days.

Rooney's situations weird. He won't be sold to another PL club, I think he'll just go back to Everton on a free.

Rooney will be played on Monday, too many players to choose from in the attacking side. Anderson better step up his game.

Reports are starting to suggest that. Chelsea have also signed Eto'o as "part" of the Willian deal but they dont want to release anything until after the game so to wind up Utd some more......

Wont know one way or the other until late next week, but imo if the Eto'o deal is only for two years, even on his wages - it wont make that much difference and its a very short term deal ( compared to any potential Rooney deal that would probably be considerably longer)

Edit - and its not like Utd can stop Rooney from joining a direct rival ( it just means 6 months to a year after moving abroad, he comes home to a different EPL team with Utd not able to do a thing to stop it.........and Im not looking at Spurs when I suggest this, although on a different level admittedly)

So he won't be sold to another PL club but will be allowed to go to one for free?
